How about "Ki"

It's a word play on "key" obviously but it does have a very nice ring to it in the context of a sentence.

I Ki'd my disks, now I feel safe :)

I'm with above commenter that's tired of hearing Crypt. One might use descriptive words like cover, seal, lock[er], safe, etc. Maybe FileLocker, DataSafe, SealIt, CoverItUp (will be on NCIS show), etc. Names like that evoke the right mental imagery and are easy to spell.
