Windows system partition encryption: yes or no?

I've offered to maintain this functionality personally. The code doesn't seem so bad to an old geek like me who still thinks in 16-bit assembly code! Don't worry... be happy... we'll maintain it.

I'm worried because of such statements.
Show us your skills instead of saying what you could do...

I am strongly for keeping WDE and Preboot Auth in the project.
Removing those is like dropping the support of MS Windows in general.

(I intend to stay on winXP-SP3, or POSReady2009, till 2019 at least.)
